The right candidate for this role, has a strong track record in sales leadership, particularly in the automotive industry. We are looking for individuals who have experience in building and managing sales teams, as well as a proven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

In terms of responsibilities, the National Sales Director will be tasked with overseeing the expansion of the sales force, developing sales plans and strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the sales team.

Additionally, this person will play a key role in developing relationships with current and potential customers, as well as collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment and synergy across the organization. This person will also be wholly accountable for sales performance of the entire organization.

Key Activities

Position will also:

* Represent the company in manner that displays the company's core values

* Develop financial fluency for the specific metrics that drive the company's success

* Consult with sales team on opportunities and prospecting for future opportunities

* Understand current and future government regulations governing vehicle sales, and ensure all of these are being followed consistently according to the laws of the states we do business in

* Maintain relationships with manufacturing partners and ensure the relationship is mutually beneficial.

* Maintain knowledge and understanding of OEM incentive programs and consult with owner

* Study Financial Services product agreements and maintain a good working relationship with all lenders

* Learn legal Compliance requirements and adhere to all compliance rules, laws and regulations

* Maximize volume of both new and used vehicles


Core responsibilities

* Utilize existing contacts and relationships in an ongoing effort to sale new and used vehicles

* Make direct contact with Owners to ensure that the foundations of a new relationship are established

* Leverage the efforts of a salesforce in effort to accomplish this

* Attend State Association meetings whenever possible to represent the company

* Sell the value of doing business with the company as a lifelong relationship

* Negotiate terms of sale transactions through sales force efforts and those of your own

* Once transactions are agreed upon, make certain that all documentation and committed deliverables are completed and meet the expectations of our customers

* Utilize checklist to coordinate all required steps for proper documentation of and execution of all associated documentation when financing is arranged by the company

* Meet with the sales team on an as need basis but no less than once per week on a video conference call

* Assign values for trade ins and purchased inventory

Applicant should:

* Must have experience in Recruiting, Hiring, Training and Maintaining salespeople

* Must have a deep understanding of Sales Training

* Must understand coaching and motivating for sales performance

* Must possess great closing ability

* Possess extensive sales management knowledge and experience

* Must have experience with making face to face sales calls

* Must be willing to travel overnight up to 30% of the time

* Understand financial institutions and deal structure to ensure prompt and accurate deal funding

* Be proficient in Excel and other Microsoft suite products

* Be professional and courteous in attitude, wardrobe and grooming

* Improve Lives as a result of their leadership style and results

* Must have experience in managing outside sales people

* Understand Dealer Management Systems, Inventory Control Systems, CRM Tools, Call Telephony Systems

* Experience with Ecommerce, SMS Tools and Lead Generation Systems

* Understanding of selling through relationships

* Understanding of prospecting through live events

* Understanding of Financing Tools, Leasing, Purchases, Balloon Notes

* Must have excellent math skills

* Must have excellent communication skills

* YOY Net Profit Growth
