Regional IT Support Specialist Voorheesville, NY
The Regional IT Support Specialist works as a part of a two-person tech team supporting staff and managers in the Greater Capital Shared Business Network (GC-SBN) region. The Specialist responds to help desk tickets; troubleshoots hardware, software, telecommunications, and network issues; and orders and configures equipment. The Specialist provides basic level IT information, training, and onboarding for staff and performs other IT projects as assigned.
The position serves as the local IT contact for CCE of Albany County and as a backup for the Lead IT Manager, helping to ensure the IT needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. This position works out of CCE of Albany County’s Voorheesville, NY office and frequently travels throughout the region including Albany, Columbia/Greene, Fulton/Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren, and Washington counties.

This position is full-time (37.5 hours/week) and is paid at a rate of $26 per hour. Mileage for work related travel is reimbursed. Qualifications include an Associate's degree plus related experience and IT skills including MS Office Suite, databases, knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft server, and desktop operating systems. A High school diploma/GED equivalent and 1-year related experience may substitute for an Associate’s degree.
