The Free Lance-Star in Fredericksburg, Virginia, is seeking motivated student journalists for a 10-week paid summer internship.
We're seeking news and sports reporters to work alongside professional journalists with decades of experience who will provide guidance, direction and support.
Candidates should be self-starters capable of producing engaging news or sports stories, photos and videos. We want innovative multitaskers who can juggle multiple assignments on daily deadlines.
Previous work at a college news outlet is preferred. Interns should have their own transportation for assignments and must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends.
