The Richmond Times-Dispatch is hiring an enterprising and competitive journalist to act as one of our trending news reporters.
This versatile reporter will cover breaking news and rapidly report to drive our coverage, while focusing on enterprise angles and follow-ups to pursue. This position is often at the center of the day's biggest developing stories, so urgency, initiative and a collaborative spirit are crucial.
We're looking for a journalist comfortable with juggling multiple assignments and presenting information in different ways, from alternative story formats to explainer videos to data visualizations. Experience with social media and video are required.
This reporter will work in our downtown Richmond newsroom. The position includes weekend, holiday and early morning shifts.
