Lead a team of sports journalists that covers the Iowa Hawkeyes, a PGA tour event, three minor league teams, two private colleges and prep sports for 15 schools in a competitive media market of nearly 385,000 people.
The Quad-City Times and Dispatch-Argus, daily newspapers in the Quad-Cities, are seeking a sport editor to guide the sports staff toward compelling stories with a strong digital focus. This is an award-winning sports staff with a mix of veterans and young reporters ready for the next leader. We're looking for a forward-thinking editor with an audience-first approach.
The sports editor is part of the leadership team at the Quad-City Times/Dispatch-Argus and reports directly to the executive editor.
